Scottish furniture business secures seven-figure funding

Furniture manufacturer The Furnishing Service has secured new funding to boost growth.

East Kilbride-based The Furnishing Service has been granted a £3.2m funding package from Royal Bank of Scotland.

The business said that the funds would be used to increase its presence south of the Scottish border as well as cope with increased demands from clients.

The Furnishing Service, which currently operates out of branches in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Dingwall and Merthyr Tydfil, added that it hopes the funding will be able to put it ‘on the map’ as a ‘leader in corporate social responsibility’ within its market.
