No joy for John Lewis Home sales

Home sales were down again at John Lewis as all categories suffered.

According to its latest weekly sales figures to 7 September 2019, total sales were down 5.5% on the same week last year.

Home sales were down 9.1%. However, its own brand House range had its biggest week this year as students prepared for university and Off to Uni sales were up 26% week on week.

Elsewhere, Fashion sales were down 4.9%, whilst Electrical and Home Technology sales were down 3.5%.
