Organisers of the Irish Furniture and Homewares Show talk about this year’s event in Dublin.

The Irish Furniture and Homewares Show is a successful, Irish-led furniture tradeshow for the Irish market and is the only one of its kind in Ireland, attended by many of the country’s top furniture suppliers and businesses.

Now in its sixth year, the IFHS has grown steadily since its inception. Originally conceived from a need to boost Ireland’s furniture industry, the exhibition quickly became an essential trade show for the national market, seeing an increase in both exhibitors and attendees each year.

In 2016, the show saw the launch of the Irish Furniture and Home Awards, giving industry suppliers an opportunity to promote their best products, and reflecting the innovation and efforts taking place in the Irish market.

This year, the Irish Furniture and Homewares Show have added a new category to its coveted industry awards. Irish retailers in attendance will have the opportunity to vote for the ‘Retailers Choice; Best Sales Rep’ award.

This award will pay tribute to the very best sales professionals in the industry today. The award will celebrate and acknowledge the top individuals for their competitive spirit, superior sales and marketing achievements whilst on the front line. The Best Sales Rep Award will be voted for by retailers attending the show during the registration process. — The winners of this year’s edition will be announced at the show.

Year after year, the IFHS receives high praise for the extensive variety of homeware and furniture products showcased in Dublin each year. The event houses all the major suppliers of upholstery, dining, bedding, cabinet and accessories, with all the key players in the furniture supply chain exhibiting.

IFHS 2019 is set to offer trade visitors an extensive insight into furniture design and innovation, the top trends of 2019 and to plan and place orders for the year ahead. The trade-only event will be packed full with the biggest brands in the Irish market.
