Homesense continues to grow British footprint

Furniture and homewares retailer Homesense has confirmed plans to open two new stores in Croydon and Derby.

Homesense, the sister brand to TK Maxx, is to open its first store in Croydon on Purley Way, creating around 25 new jobs in the local area.

The new store, which officially opens on 3 October, is situated within TK Maxx’s Drury Crescent site with Homesense set to take a 39,000sqft space.

Homesense has also confirmed that it will open a new store in Derby, again within its sister company’s outlet, at Kingsway Retail Park.

The business will take a 28,000sqft space in the store, which officially opens on 12 September and has created a further 28 jobs.

More than 50 Homesense stores have opened across the country since the brand was launched more than a decade ago in the UK.
