THE COMPLETE HOME FURNISHER

Focus on Flooring

Cabinet Maker takes a look at what to expect to see at The Flooring Show in September.

Customer appeal, colour and texture, performance and getting the fit right first time? You’ll find information on all these points and much more at this year’s Flooring Show, which takes place from 15th to 17th September in Harrogate.

Widely recognised as the UK’s National Flooring Event, 2019 marks the 57th edition, a record performance for a b2b sector trade show, and a not-to-be-missed event for any supplier or retailer in the sector.

This is where the industry’s leading brands and suppliers from the UK and beyond turn out to support the three-day show, using the occasion to showcase new ranges across all types of flooring, including carpet, laminate, LVT, wood, vinyl plus cork and grass for both the contract and retail markets.

So, whatever your interest in flooring, a trip to The Flooring Show will be time well spent!

Visit the show and be the first to see…

All the big names will be at the show, so you’ll cover the ground, and all the flooring choices from the UK, Europe and internationally, in just one visit.

Meet the teams behind this year’s new and returning exhibitors…
With more than 50 exhibitors new to the show for 2019 or returning after a short break having already signed up, visitors should allow enough time to meet some new faces and review their ranges and flooring offers.

Look out for Abingdon Flooring, a2zrug, Cormar Carpets, Carpetfitters.com, Fells Carpets, Kellars Limited, Lifestyle Floors, Green & Brown, Ultimate Display, Oriental Weavers, Mastercraft Rugs and Visualmine to name a few.

Head over to Hall C where some exhibitors will once again be managing a soft takeover to champion the benefits of wool products in the flooring industry. Take a look at our exhibitors striking new ranges of merchandising and interior displays, as well as the opportunity to learn more about wool in the Wool Trends Centre.

For the more practically minded, The Flooring Show is also supported by a full demonstration programme suitable for contractors and fitters hosted by the Flooring Industry Training Association FITA (itself co-founded by the Carpet Fitters Association CFA, and the National Institute of Carpet & Floorlayers NICF). Their full product demonstration timetable will be published shortly on the show’s new website.

Plus, don’t forget to head over to the Kings Suite to catch up on the latest trends in a new and improved Trends Hub. Make sure you visit the forecasting team at Scarlet Opus during the show.

The show is delighted to confirm it will be providing a thought-provoking trend hub area for retailers to visit whilst at the show, with some ideas on product merchandising, colour trends and finishes to attract new customers.
