At a ceremony in the heart of the City of London, McDaniel & Co. director Kelly Hudson was made a Liverymen of the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers after a successful period as a Freeman of the Livery.
Dids Macdonald, OBE., chief executive of ACID and Master of the Furniture Makers Company, said: “Kelly Hudson is an accomplished and respected IP lawyer.
“For the past three years Kelly has given our Young Industry Professionals their first taste of Intellectual Property in the ACID mini masterclass with style, wit and panache as they journey forth on a fantastic roller coaster of learning on their annual tour.
” Not only has Kelly given so much already to the Furniture Makers but she has been at ACID members’ sides for nearly a decade helping them find cost-effective and lasting solutions to the IP issues they face.”
The Furniture Makers company, the City of London Livery and Charity for the Furniture and Furnishings industry, support and nurture this industry by inspiring excellence in design and manufacture; creating education opportunities to foster young talent for the future and of course, supporting the people who are the beating heart of this industry when they are in need of help.
